The Annex Sports Performance Center is the premier training facility of Northern New Jersey.
For close to two decades, The ANNEX has been home to countless amateur and professional level athletes and adult clients.
From our humble beginnings in a small basement gym, we have evolved to fit the needs of our athletes and members through individualized training.
Despite our growth, our mission has always remained the same:
Put the performance and health of our members at the forefront of what we do.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Conduct strength and conditioning sessions for both athletes and general population clients Design and implement training programs for athletes of all ages and general population clients Aid fellow Annex staff with coaching of athletes and clients Must serve as a positive influence for athletes and clients in the training facility Must be willing to learn and apply growth mindset to development as a coach
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Two years of coaching experience, experience with athletic populations preferred but not required Must hold current certification from any of the following organizations:
NSCA, NASM, CSCS and SCCC.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
Proven ability to establish good rapport and an effective working relationship with student- athletes, staff and community.
Ability to maintain strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally.
Ability to build/maintain strong client relationships Must have a dedication to personal and professional growth, development, innovation, and improvement.
Ability to be sensitive to a diverse background of students (academic, socioeconomic, cultural/ethnic, physical/learning disabilities).
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed Job Types:
